This is artwork created in November 2018.

a drawing.

Portrait of Buffy. I did a hackathon with her. She was meant to attend another with me - was going to use the drawing in the slides.

Drawing frogs.

Brainstorming for Hack4Health hackathon.

The reference was a recent Pepper and Carrot character - a tailor. There are very few male characters in Pepper and Carrot so it’s always good to draw them when I can. I like the mo.

Grayscale painting of tailor from pepper and carrot.

lie detector robot from pepper and carrot. These are becoming standard in airports.

Reference was a Phillfromgvhq artwork. I liked the spikes.

Caveman dreaming of being fat and having elephant to eat. Another from phillfromgchq

Girl nude in bed. Phillfromgchq. The comic has quite a bit of nude. It’s quite the opposite to Petter and Carrot.

Tree and portrait from phillfromgchq

It’s been a busy October! I started Inktober but quickly gave up. I had three Hackathons on this month - Unearthed (which some art is included), NASA Space App Challange, and DigiSparkHackathon (Identity consent). I also took my Pi along to the Ruby meetup so there are a few drawings from that.

LumaSign and China stuff.

I have a English football song playlist on Spotify that I enjoy. This was inspired by that playlist.

Inktober Poisonous prompt. A bottle of poison, acid rain, and poison plants.

Inktober enter prompt with bonus Chinese symbol.

Exit signs brainstorms. Enter vs Exit.

Roastedmeat. Inktober Prompt.

Drawn during the ruby on rails meetup in Sydney.

Artwork from the last few months. A range of works from Ludum Dare sketches to Phil fanart.

Portrait of Cathy. Focused just on line artwork with using a range of colors for specific areas of the artwork - similar to how I work with color tonal works.

Loving the moth memes this month. So been drawing a few. I love Lamp.

import gettext.

Artwork from Ludum Dare. The theme was running out of space.

lightbolt.

Concept sketch ideas for Oskar Automation. A company I met at Fishburners.

Phil from gchq fanart.

Character sketches.

I created concept art for a gamejam - a game by its cover. As of yet I have not taken it in Unity or anything. I’m not sure if I will.
Here is the art I have created for it so far:

Drawing the circle disc shape in the distance. Drawn a couple of different versions of the shape.

Some grayscale tonal pieces. The mountains, houses and the shows, and the title.

Hallway. Character in the center. Walls surrounding.

Writing script for communications between the player and someone else.

Introducing the players

More words and drawings

Spaceship on the side flying.

Pepper and Carrot.

Random person from RedditGetsDrawn on the left. The filter they had on added love hearts above.

July artwork. I attended a hackathon early in the month at InfoTrack so have included pieces I created there.
Rest of the drawings are around Sydney or created from home.

InfoTrack banking and finance.

I went to North Sydney with my friend Cathy and drew a boat on the water.

Brought my digital painting setup along to Fishburners. Several people were interested in the setup - some even got involved and drew.

InfoTrack Consumer

InfoTrack Corporate

I have been playing Crash Bandicoot 2 on my RetroPi.

Attended Fishburners meetup and drew/notes the talks.

InfoTrack logo redesign. Making InfoTrack more comic.

InfoTrack Legal.

Drawing the Sydney Habour Bridge but then just drawing from imagination.

Garfield. I like lasanga. I found a Garfield fanart and was inspired to draw elements from it. Lots of love hearts. I had a Garfield game on my apple2e that was used to create comics.

Colour layer for garfield and Handmaids tale.

Watching Handmaids Tale so been drawing along to it - buildings, crosses, and random quotes.

junemaid.

A landscape with a character in the foreground. Short spiky arms and round feet.

I have a new Wacom drawing tablet. It’s a intous pro small. It worked straight out of the box with my Raspberry Pi running Rasbian. I’ve been quite busy drawing with it over the past week and a half. Here are the results, including some older works.

Season 3 of 12 Monkeys is on Netflix so I watched it and drew this. I had already seen season 3 but I’ve watched s1/2 multiple times already so why not.

background

Assets for the site. Likely won’t use it for anything but a good warm up. Thumbnail images.

Testing enabling opacity pressure. This is a change from size pressure. Opacity pressure will save me time when doing tonal works as i can get light to dark with pressure rather than changing color manually.

My friend painted a flower so I painted a flower.

Again, more flower studies.

I have been watching a few of the world cup games and drew this when watching them.

Request from a friend. Hedgehog.

Line portrait drawing for a friend. A late birthday present.

Grayscale layer of portrait drawing for a friend.

And a color version.

Line test of the opacity pressure

This was created at the aws meetup in Sydney. It was the 2nd time I had attended the meetup and likely the last. The meetup doesn’t really interest me and I find the talks to be too dry and sponsored. The people are ok. I might attend the aws summit in April.

Digital drawing of Calista and her dog Willow. I would like to draw both of them more. The reference image didn’t show much - only half her face. Still it was fun to draw her and she liked the result.

Drawing of Carla.

Drawn when attending the golang Sydney meetup. It was a bit of a different meetup to my usual meetups. They had a talk on documentation then some library developers talk about their projects and then we were encouraged to work on their docs.

something random

Attended the laravel meetup. I mostly attended because they were talking ecommerce. I don’t get along to many backend dev meetups so this was enjoyable.

opto.

progressive web apps meetup.

spike

Attended Sydney Designers meetup. I even got someone drawing!

Remix and redraw of Karis artwork that she sent me. I love to collaborate with others on art.

jeans now 2 for $50. drawn in Palmerston north side a mall.

Jessica had a great time on my drawing tablet. Jessica was here. A cat to the right.

Jessica here again. A sunshine in the top right. I sometimes draw sunshine. It’s usually multi ones though. Another drawing of the cat and penguin. My fav animal.

This was created at a IOT hardware hackathon in Sydney. A girl (who I never got her name) spent quite a bit of time drawing - a kiwi, unicorn, portrait, and figure with a hat. I love getting others to draw, so i don’t have to!

Drawn at Mikeys. Some random girl from redditgetsdrawn.

More from Jessica

Drawn at the IOT hardware hackathon in Sydney. Spikes and stuff.

Drawing of someones legs on Sydney train.
